Third Annual Photo Contest
Portraits of animals or birds can be compelling, but it’s more challenging, and rewarding, to try to capture behaviour: wildlife interacting with each other or with their environment.
Water and Land based Habitat (to illustrate the type of geography that forms the basis for a healthy ecosystem for both wildlife and humans).
Images that reflect our complex relationship with nature and show how we as humans should connect with our surroundings in harmony and in a protective way as well as images that reflect our dangerous disconnect with the natural environment
With climate change happening all around us, melting glaciers, rain events, forest fires, regeneration after the floods and fires are all around, with or without human figures.
This category is meant to encourage young photographers to develop camera and observational skills, and falls within the “Inspired by Nature” theme.
